I don't think they have a date nailed down yet as they need to finish the beta testing period to work out the bugs and once that is completed they will need to submit the drivers to CableLabs for approval before releasing to the public. Is there any indication on when the beta firmware will be released? Right now I am leaning towards buying and xbox as a WMC extender, but if I can share tuners I can buy a nettop PC instead.

Just to keep this post up to date, I wanted to share that I have posted an update (v 1.0.0.32), which includes a slew of helpful preference additions, such as:

* Shutdown time, in conjunction with Windows Scheduled Task to run within a daily ‘processing window of time’

* Processing Rules, to selectively include/exclude certain shows
